Birds? Or Dinosaurs? • Fugle? Eller dinosaurer?

Some weeks ago I went to see an exhibition which was showcasing one of the most complete tyrannosaurus skeletons ever found. Living in Denmark, and also quite far away from any major cities I have only really seen dinosaurs skeletons up-close on my travel to foreign countries. As a kid I was absolutely crazy about dinosaurs! I knew everything about them and could name every single one of them.

When I went to the exhibition it suddenly hit me why I find myself so interested in birds, because they are linked to my childhood obsession with dinosaurs. When I was a teenager someone told me that dinosaurs was for kids and it was something I should “give up on”.  I have found that many of my interest I had at a younger age, not just the dinosaurs, are starting to sparkle in my head again. It might have something to do with me being more free minded and not so focused on what people might think of me and my interests. That is a mindset I use in my art practice as well. No idea is really to crazy, you only set the limits yourself!
